Data we collect
Through the contact form: name, phone number, email address, type of service and message. During a call-out: the information needed for invoicing.
Why we use it
To answer your request, prepare a quote and carry out the job. The legal basis is taking steps before a contract and performing the contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our accounting obligations for invoices (Article 6(1)(c)).
Retention period
Quote requests are kept for as long as needed to answer them and follow up on the job. Invoices are kept for the period required by Belgian accounting and tax law.
Recipients
Your data is never sold or rented. It may be processed by our web host and our accountant, only for the purposes above.
Third-party services
The website shows Google Maps and loads fonts and scripts from third-party servers (cdnjs, unpkg, Unsplash). These services may receive your IP address.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing, by writing to Info@bel-serrures.be. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.dataprotectionauthority.be).
